1. How do I get a permit for a beach fire?
Town owned beaches allow for charcoal use only. Permits can be obtained free of charge at the fire station.
2. Is there a beach where we can have a camp fire?
Cape Cod National Seashore allows wood fires on the ocean side beaches. A limited number of permits are issued daily at the Salt Pond Visitor Center. Call: (508) 255-3421.
3. Can I burn brush on my own property?
Open burning of brush is allowed January 15 through May 1. A permit is required and can be obtained with a list of rules at the fire station starting January 15.
