Fiscal Year 2008 Property Value Assessments
The Assessing Department has completed the Fiscal Year 2008 Interim Year Update of property values to achieve full and fair cash value assessments as required by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40, Section 56. These Department of Revenue certified assessed values reflect estimated market values as of January 1, 2007 based on real estate sales in Eastham during the year 2006. Inquiries may be made by calling the Assessors Office at 508-240-5900 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tax bills will be mailed by October 1, 2007. They are due November 1, 2007. If you haven't received your tax bill by October 15th, please contact the Tax Collector's office at 508-240-5900. Abatement applications will be accepted at the Assessors office between October 1, 2007 and November 1, 2007.
